NEW YORK – Hurricane Ida effected New York on August 26, 2021. After the remnants of Hurricane Ida damaged homes, businesses and infrastructure across New York state, FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the National Flood Insurance Program have approved nearly 800 million dollars to help New Yorkers recover and rebuild.

The residents of following counties and boroughs are eligible for an assistance (Bronx, Brooklyn, Dutchess, Manhattan, Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Rockland, Staten Island, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester).
